The Conference Committee extended the submission deadline to XXII Grudis Conference and Doctoral Colloquium by one week to October 26, 2022.

The unprecedent decision to extend the deadline was made in recognition of the enormous significance to our community of the untimely passing Professor Lúcia Lima Rodrigues. A highly esteemed colleague, Professor Lúcia Rodrigues was a close friend and mentor to so many members of Grudis Network and a member of Grudis Advisory Board. The news of her passing, which was reported to the wider accounting community by Sofia Lourenço’s Epitaph to Prof. Lúcia Lima Rodrigues, rocked our community and left it grieving her passing at a time the deadline was looming. This gesture also represents a small tribute from Grudis to one of ours, to whom we owe so much and sorely miss. Together, the Grudis community shall come together at the Conference, in Coimbra, to remember Professor Lúcia Rodrigues and celebrate her life and contribution to Accounting.
